All Prayers Gratefully Accepted!

We are thankful that Dan is beginning to feel better.  It was easier for him to tolerate the taste of food today. Friday afternoon, 2:20 p.m./14:20 Romanian time, Dan will have a C-T Scan to determine if this horrible chemo has done anything to shrink the cancer.  Sarcomas in this area are so rare that Doctors don’t know what to do. There is not enough research in this area.  They are guessing that Dan has  another sarcoma because it grew so close to where the first cancer was.  In other words, the doctors are experimenting on Dan.  They want to save his life.  They just don’t know how.

Dan’s doctor is consulting with the oncologist/sarcoma specialist at MD Anderson who saw Dan…but MD Anderson does not know what to do except remove it surgically.  Well, unless the cancer shrinks, it cannot be removed. God can shrink it.  God can remove it.  God knows what to do. He tells us to trust Him, to wait upon Him.

Psalm 37:3,4, 7- “Trust in the Lord and do good…Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him….”  Can we do that?  Will we choose to trust, wait?  That is the only way we can have peace.  — Anne and Dan
