No New News from C-T Scan

We told you that Dr. Anderson had ordered a 2nd C-T Scan to compare the current amount of fluid and the size of the tumor inside the mass with what the July C-T Scan showed.  The new report gave only the size of the mass, now 5.5 inches X 4.5 inches (we could have done that with a tape measure).
The Radiologist gave no comparison of the contents of the mass!  We have a 1 p.m. appointment with Dr. Anderson the first day he is back in the office – next Monday.  Dan said, “The amount of fluid, or the size of the tumor does not matter.  The Dr. said I have Stage IV cancer, the experimental chemo they gave me did not work, and there is nothing more they can do for me.”
After having done quite a bit of research, Dan has chosen a nutritional approach, The Cellect-Budwig Protocol, specifically designed for Stage IV cancers. He found over 300 diets to combat cancer…but only 3 have been effective against Stage IV.   We have a personal coach who is helping us understand how to carry out the complicated protocol.  Also, Dan is using a CD with guided imagery from the book, THREE MONTHS TO LIFE, by Gerald White.  As Dan so aptly put it, “I’ve done what the doctors here and at MD Anderson thought might possibly work.  Now they tell me I am dying.  What have I got to lose by following this nutritional and imagery approach? I want to go back to Romania to continue the Bible studies face to face!”
We believe that God is okay with people seeking medical care, even asking God to defeat cancer. We are in God’s hands.  Whatever He decides is okay.  Thank you for your e-mails,cards, Skype visits, flowers, help with buying groceries, and continuing to pray for us.  May God’s will be done, and His name be glorified! — Anne and Dan
P.S. Check your e-mail.  You should have received an announcement about Let’s Start Talking honoring us with the Heart of the Servant Award at their annual dinner, Saturday, Sept 27.   You folks within driving distance, we’d love to see you there.
