Oh, What a Beautiful Day!

God blessed us with sunshine, a very uplifting worship service (singing with 2,000 people fills us with joy and peace), a nice visit with Jim when he brought the lovely meal Sally prepared for us, a phone call from Bob, and one from Dottie, and visits over Skype with 5 of some of our most favorite people who live far away.

What a day!  Thank you, God, for filling our cup today.  It had gotten pretty empty.  Today Dan’s Ph level was in the slightly alkaline area where it needs to be to defeat the cancer. We have hope!  — Anne and Dan

I am so grateful that the Lord allows you to have “a sunshine day” that melodiously uplifts your spirits, brings you blessings from good people, and fills up your cup with benefits when you feel empty. God is good all the time! Reminds me of these uplifting scriptures:

Jesus says, “So put first God’s kingdom and what is right. Then, all the things you need will be given to you. Don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. There is enough trouble in just one day (Matthew 6:33,34-SEB).”

Jesus says, “So, every tree which is a good tree produces good fruit . . . It is not possible for a good tree to yield bad fruit . . . Therefore, you can recognize them by what they produce (Matthew 7:17-20-SEB).”

Jesus says, “Your eye is like a lamp for the body. If your eye can see clearly, then the whole body is made bright (Matthew 6:22-SEB).” Jesus says, “You are the light for the world . . . So, let your light shine in front of people, so that they will see the good things you do. Then, they will give glory to your Father, who is in heaven (Matthew 5:14,16-SEB).”

    Love to you, Sherrie
