When I’m at A Low Point…

God is good.  God is always Good!  When we’re at a low point, and the Evil One is trying to pull us into Darkness, God sends one of His Children to lift our spirits. Tonight, this e-mail came. Sherry expresses so well what our life has been, and still is, about.  I will let her “speak” for us tonight.  — Anne and Dan

“Thank you for continuing to include us on your email list.  I truely enjoy your emails and hearing how you and Dan are allowing God to work through you instead of being angry or frustrated that “this is happening to me.”  What a wonderful spirit!  It is that same spirit I have seen at work in your lives for years; the spirit that shared God’s design for marriages and families with us at Walnut Hill and Riverside.

Thank you for the contribution you made to our family.  Rikki is a senior this year and making plans to spread her wings.  I was sitting at supper tonight watching Pearce and her, listening to their laughter, and so grateful that God blessed us with a desire to know our children and to invest in them.  We have been blessed with loving children. Thank you for investing in our lives as young married couples and parents.

I have often shared with friends as to your inspiration in my life to keep working for God continually.  Retirement does not mean a stasis of faith or commitment.  May God continue to bless you and increase your faith.

Love, Sherry K”
