Some Improvement

We are thankful that about 2/3’s of the blisters are better.  The others are small but the redness around them is increasing.  Before the nurse comes in the morning to change the bandage, I am going to use a hair dryer to blow warm air on those places.  Maybe that will get them dry enough so they will begin to heal.

We had a fairly good day today. It was a lovely sunny Fall day.  Brenda brought lots of organic food for us.  Ann brought our mail and a 10 pound bag of organic carrots!  Carl and Anna took Dottie, Dan and me all out to dinner. Yes, Dan was able to go!  (Sometime ask how it happened that we three women all wore identical purple velvet jacket and slacks sets.)

Please, continue praying that God will heal Dan’s body of cancer, heal broken relationships, and that we will feed Dan food that will help him gain weight BUT at the same time cause the cancer to go away.    Jamie wrote, “My only words of encouragement are: HOLD FAST to His garment… the midst if it all.  He’s already got His hold on you.”  What an uplifting reminder. — Anne and Dan

This battle belongs to the Lord. This is God’s battle to fight for your benefit, because God’s kingdom lives inside you. “Jahaziel said, ‘Listen to me King Jehoshaphat, and all you people living in Judah and Jerusalem! The Lord says this to you: Don’t be afraid or worry about this large army coming against you, because the battle is not your battle. The battle belongs to the Lord . . . You won’t need to fight in this battle. Stand strong in your places. You will see the Lord save you . . . do not be afraid! Do not worry! The Lord is with you, so go out against those enemies tomorrow’ . . . Jehoshaphat said, ‘Have faith in the Lord your God, and then you will stand strong. Have faith in the Lord’s prophets. You will succeed (2 Chronicles 20:15,17,20)!'” Jesus says, “God’s kingdom is coming, but not in a way that you will be able to see with your eyes. People will not say, ‘Look, God’s kingdom is here!’ Or, ‘There it is!’ No, God’s kingdom is inside you (Luke 17:20,21).” Love you, Sherrie
