Say a Little Prayer for Dan

Dan sees the surgeon tomorrow, Wed., 2:30, to have the wound debrided – cleaned out.  (This will not be fun.)  There is what appears to be a small hematoma forming on top of where the wound should be closing, and dead tissue is blocking proper drainage of the wound. Please, keep on praying for Dan’s healing, and say a few special words for Wednesday about the wound being cleaned successfully, the hematoma completely removed, Dan’s skin being free of irritation from the tape, the incision healing successfully.
When we told the Lord to make us tools fit for His use, we did not know what we were asking.  What we did know was that we were imperfect pots. We did not know it would take a cancer for which there is no known medical treatment to break us.  We’re still spinning on the potter’s wheel while God shapes us into who and what He wants us to be.
It’s rather scary at times, but we look forward to the time when we can indeed be more like our Savior. We’re thankful that His grace covers us and will last through eternity. “The Lord is the true God, he is the living God, the eternal King.”  Jeremiah 10:10.  “Jesus will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High….His kingdom will never end.” Luke 1:32-33 — Anne and Dan

Dan and Anne, We are praying that Wednesday is the day that Dan’s wound will begin healing again. We are praying that they will be able to deaden the area so that the proedure is pain free, and that everything will go smoothly. God’s blessing surround you and may you be wrapped in peace. Ann J

    Dearest Anne and Dan,
May “the Lord bless you and keep you: The Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you: The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26-RSV).” Amen in Jesus name.

My your minds remember and your hearts feel the Presence of God with you always through every circumstance, every pain, and every discomfort so you will have peace in His Perfect Love always. “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord for ever (Psalm 23-RSV).” Amen in Jesus name.

My prayer for you is this: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the Lord delivers him out of them all . . . The Lord redeems the life of His servants; none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned (Psalm 34:17-22-RSV).” Amen in Jesus name.

    Love to you,
    Sherrie H.
