Dan’s Pulse is High, but He Is Here

June 7, 2009 at 8:29 am 4 comments

Dan is still with us.  154 pulse rate is too high.  He had good private individual talks with our children from Texas. He ate a little bit of supper, and then sat in the wheelchair in the living room with all of us for quite awhile.

Curt Parsons, one of our elders, sent this encouraging scripture today:

8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,

       slow to anger, abounding in love.

 9 He will not always accuse,
       nor will he harbor his anger forever;

 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
       or repay us according to our iniquities.

 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
       so great is his love for those who fear him;

 12 as far as the east is from the west,
       so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

 13 As a father has compassion on his children,
       so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;

 14 for he knows how we are formed,
       he remembers that we are dust.” – Psalm 103: 8 – 14

 May you be blessed.– Anne and Dan

    God answers prayers!!!!! I pleaded with Him off and on all day yesterday to give Dan enough life to spend some time with the Texas son and daughter. Thank you God, thank you!

    May this day, the Lord’s Day, be filled with so many blessings on each one of you that you will not be able to count them.

    Much love and loads of peace,

    We are thankful that your children arrived safely and hope that Dan will feel at peace for their coming, as well as you, Anne.
    We love you & are continuing our prayers for a peaceful passing into the arms of Jesus, when He is ready to bring Dan home. Vicki

    I was so excited to read that Dan and your Texas children had been able to spend time together! I, too, have been praying for this, and now can continue the prayer, but with thanks, thanks to God for allowing this visit. May God continue showering you and your family with love and blessings.

    Prayers and love,
