5 p.m. Update

5 pm (3:00 a.m. Romanian time) Dan has not awakened today. BP 88/52, heart rate 127. His coloring is changing in his face…getting darker in his eyelids and nose. He won’t let us change the position he has been in all day with his head leaning down and towards the right. Breathing is very shallow. He opened his eyes once just now when I told him, “I love you,” but he went on sleeping.

May God comfort you and me as the angels prepare to carry Dan to the Home he has been living to go to ever since he came to believe that Jesus is the Son of God.  Remember angels are rejoicing waiting to welcome one of God’s children Home. — Anne

The time has come for Dan to cross over into the beautiful hands of Jesus! Thousands of angels singing ‘Glory to God in the Highest’ like we have never heard before. Such music will be rapture to his ears and he will dwell with the Father and the Son forever and ever – waiting for you.

And it was that Melissa! What a lovely angel on earth who came to hold Dan’s hand has he passes out of his earth suit into the heavenly one.

Precious Anne – we love you!!

I pray God will be merciful and cut the time short for Dan, as he also did at the last for Jesus. God be with you, Anne. Love, Jeanie

Believers only go to sleep in Jesus, Christians never die. We sleep until Jesus returns and regenerates or refreshes our bodies into a new heavenly form united with our spirits. Our bodies go to sleep and our spirits rise to heaven to be with Jesus. Jesus Himself says to the grieving people about Jairus’ daughter, ” . . . she is not dead; she is only sleeping (Luke 8:52)!” Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. The person who commits himself to Me will live, even though he may die. Every person who lives and commits himself to me will never die (John 11:25,26)!” The apostle John records heaven’s view of our Christians life and our rewards that follow, “Then I heard a voice coming from heaven. It said, ‘Write this: From now on, the people who die in the Lord are happy. The Spirit says that they will enjoy rest after they have worked so hard. Their good deeds follow them (Revelation 14:13).”

I pray Dan will go to sleep in Jesus, wake up in heaven, and be united with our Lord. Lord, thank you for lifting up Dan’s spirit into heaven’s glory so Dan may rest from all his hard work done on the earth. Lord, thank you for comforting Anne and the entire Boyd family during their grief. May the Lord be gracious to you all and give you peace. Amen in Jesus name.

    I love you both,
    Sherrie

We are so thankful that God will soon release Dan from his earthly body so he can begin his new journey. This time I can truly sympathize as it’s just been a few months since my family went through the last hours of a loved one’s life on earth. We are happy that Dan will not suffer any more, but our earthly side is sorry when we are left behind. I pray for continued strength for your family as well as those whose lives the two of you have touch in so many ways. Thank you for keeping us updated.
    Prayers and love,
    Gerry
