Celebration Time!

How do we celebrate in St. George, Covasna County, Transylvania, Romania? Let me show you!

On Sundays, we always come together to remember the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also meet at other times to celebrate special things in our life.

Marti had a birthday Sunday…and now that he has his university degree, he has a new job.

Maria made these cakes - one HAPPY BIRTHDAY cake for Marti, and one WELCOME HOME cake for me!

First everyone helped prepare the sumptuous meal. Mimi is the Salad Specialist!

Vasile watched Marti make creamy mashed potatoes!

Julian made the coffee. He & Mariao helped with everything.

This good family helped prepare AND eat the dinner!

He got a double portion!

After the party was over, I drove my Skoda over this - my street - still unpaved - but I learned to drive on snow and ice in Texas. Really. I am telling the truth. I made it home without any problems. God is good...all the time.

“Let us give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever.” I Chronicles 16:33-35 — Anne

Great photo! They made me feel like I was there with everybody. It was good to see each one . I am so happy you feel confident to drive. Now I know you are independent to go anywhere. I am busy helping Joy get organized and keeping up the kitchen duties. Baby is doing very well and keeps Joy busy nursing a lot. It is great having Shera and being with Andrew, age 5. He is adapted to being in a new environment remarkably well due to Shera’s excellent preparation. Keep shining God’s light in His kingdom.
