LST Brings Sports Camp to St. George

 

A youthful LST team, led by Mike and Shannon Plog and their amazing teens, conducted a sports camp at the Red Cross Building during the week of July 22-26.  The camp was held from 10:00 to 11:30 AM and from 2 to 6 PM.  This camp was structured a little differently than regular LST reading sessions.  Instead of individual readers discussing passages one on one, the team conducted group reading and discussion sessions; would break for a game, and then return for another discussion session. 

 

Each teen was responsible for planning a game, giving Shannon the rules and a supply list for the game, and leading the game.  This was great training for them, and great fun for their friends in St. George.   It has been a joy to see our teens in action and to see them developing into future Christian leaders!  Well done, teenagers!  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the work you have done. —  Linda and Anne, St. George, Transylvania, Romania!
